I use whatever is on my bathroom shelf, at the moment its TREsemme absolute platinum conditioner mixed with L’Oreal Extraordinary Oil. Mix them together at the same time, coat hair then wash off after ten mins! Pow!

I get my housemate to take mine! Do you have a tripod or something you can balance your camera on? Be confident and don’t care about the outcome, otherwise you’ll stress and panic. Make sure you’re happy, but relax! Good luck!

I use crazy colour sky blue mixed with la riche directions in turquoise and then hot purple over the top to make the darker blue tips when I do darker blue dip dye.

i'm currently studying magazine publishing and i'm almost finished my first year. I'm looking at applying for some work experience at Vice magazine- do you have any advice?

Errm try and apply for as much work experience as you can but be careful because if you want to do journalism (?) a lot of magazines will try and screw you into doing an internship for free which can be draining and a lot of hard work for minimal return. Instead, contribute to online magazines, try get in touch with editors of big magazines and ask for openings, LOOK / Glamour / Cosmo are all really good for interning at. Start up your own zine and get a store to distribute it, get your name and credentials out there. Open a blog, get writing. Network, network, network !

Go and eat at Meat Liquor, go and drink at the Old Blue Last in Shoreditch, go shopping in Covent Garden or Knightsbridge (huge topshop!) check out Liberty of London cos it’s beautiful, take a walk down Carnaby Street, go for a spot of tea in one of the many tea rooms on Carnaby too. Have fun, try not to use the tube, lots of things are within walking distance especially in central. If you’re after a good night out, avoid central London hot spots as full of tourists and students, but if you want a cool place to go for a drink with a rocky kind of atmosphere, go to Crobar in Soho, or the Jazz Cafe. Have fuuun!

I did but I only did AS, i did Media which I got an A in, German which i got a C in and IT which I failed cos I couldn’t be bothered to do the coursework. Who’d have ever thought i’d go on to run my own website for a living. haha. After my A levels I went to college and did a BTEC, which I got an all round Merit in. It was Production for Film and TV.

Are you working currently? I'm between jobs and finding it hard to get a place in london! I was wondering if you have any tips on this. I have the money for deposits and rent and even guarantors but still its hard!

I am, I run the blog as one of my main jobs, but then I DJ alongside that and do other bits and bobs like social media for other brands as well as having a bit of a dab hand in advertising and PR for some music websites and social networks. It is hard, but ensure you have a steady income before you settle into something! Good luck! x

Lilac is by far one of the worst for fading. Stick some in your conditioner and it’ll top it up every time you wash x

We met at a blogging event, I think it was for Boots. (The first time we both met Daniel Sandler too, mancrush alert!) and we just immediately clicked. Bloggers are so alike that it’s impossible not to be friends with so many of them. Lily and I are from very similiar walks of life and are very similar people. It’s amazing that blogging has brought us together!

This is super nosy but are you naturally that thin or do you have to work for it? If the latter, what do you do? You look amazing.

Noo I didn't bleach it tonight, I bleached it on Wednesday, I was thinking of waiting till this Wednesday to bleach it again (I'm off college for the next 3 weeks so can live with yellow hair!) Do you recommend a good bleach to use? I used Smart Beauty but if there's a good product out there I'd love to know! Ohh I think wilkos have an offer on Herbal Essance products at the minute, I'll get myself down there tomorrow. Thanks again for your help! :)

Hello there, Hair advice please!! (I know you're probably totally sick of all this, I'm sorry!) Basically, I want to go pastel pink, I've just bleached my hair and it's gone a lovely orangey/yellow/brass colour which I knew would happen. My question to you is, how long should I wait before I bleach it again? And have you any tips on getting it the white colour I need with as little damage as possible? Also, can you recommend any really good deep conditioners for cheaps (under £5) Thank you!

Hi darling! Right this is EXACTLY what happened to me when i dyed the whole top of my head pink once. It went this vile orange, and then when I put the pink on top it went this weird gross brown pink and was just awful. I spent more time and money fixing it than needed! Okay the first thing is you need to let it rest between bleaching. Even if its only 24 hours, let it breathe. Basically when you bleach the hair you basically open up all the follicles and make them porous, and if you bleach too much they open up too much and frazzle and then snap. Which you definitely don’t want. What you should do right now if you can (did you just bleach it tonight?) is go get some hair oil if you have some and if not use olive oil (if you’re at home dont tell your parents haha) and rub it through the tips of the hair to help seal the ends and keep them nice and shiny. Then bleach again tomorrow or even Monday if you can on dry unwashed hair. If it goes nice and white, which mine did third time around, pop the colour straight on after (again, on dry hair) if not, let it dry, wait another day and use a lilac toner on it. This will take out the brassy tones. It’s so important to get a really white base for pink because pink really needs it, luckily cos mine’s green it didnt matter too much about the yellow. Think of it like paint. With mine, the blue on the yellow bits just went turquoise anyway cos yellow + blue = green. Pink + yellow = brown. Yucky brown!
My favourite deep conditioner for cheap is by Herbal Essences, it comes in a blue round pot and I think but dont quote me, its about £3.50. It’s called like, Happy Ends or something for split ends? It’s so good. My trick though is to invest in a hair oil (can be pricey but sooo worth it) and you can literally use any old cheap conditioner but when you mix it with hair oil it makes themost gorgeous perfect deep treatment. Leave that combo on for 10+ mins and your hair will be lovely silky shiny. I hope all of this helped? Haha. xoxo
